I can't find any information on this anywhere. I wanted to see if anyone has experience with pregnancy while having a cervical herniated disc? I was diagnosed a while back with a c4 and c5 herniated disc. The pain is manageable and I am able to participate in normal activities with a flareup once in a while that has side effects I can feel in my legs. I am staring the IVF process, have never been pregnant before but my primary says just to go for it as my pain isn't that bad and I am on the older side (34). If I were to get the surgery for my neck it would be at least a year before IVF will work with me again.
Now I am wondering if it is a good idea to become pregnant with my condition. Has anyone dealt with a neck injury while pregnant ? ??
