Can baby hear me yet?

Just wondered if anyone knew when roughly baby should be starting to hear the outside world so to speak? I want to start talking to baby and hope he or she will recognise my voice

I think it's from about 22 weeks, I'm sure I read that recently. It might be a but earlier tho, I'd talk to bump anyway, you never know!! X

I'm always talking to mine! I did from the start. I am a bit bonkers though

Hubs heard me the other day, I said I was talking to the dogs! Haha

I'm not sure on this either. I have a baby book that says 15 weeks and other baby websites have said that too. But then a lot of them say about 20 weeks. I've told my OH to start now so that at least when baby can definitely hear, he'll be comfortable with the idea and it won't be awkward (like Ross on friends talking to Carols tummy)

Hehe we have two cats so I think if hubby hears me I will pretend to be talking to them!!! I feel really silly doing it but want baby to start to get familiar with our voices. Think I will start now then and hope he or she can hear me!!
