Had a c section a month ago. Had my scar checked last week and doc said it was all good. Today it is itching and I want to scratch it. Of course I won't but just wondered if this was normal? I remember when I had scabs/scars as a child and it itched my mum would say it's getting better -is this true or an old wives tale? Scar looks healthy enough. Thanks.
Its a really good sign that its itchy.. it is a sign of healing and that the nerves in the skin are repairing themselves.. If its really bothering you, put some e45 cream on them, or arnica which will help with the healing process if the scar has completely healed

Mine still itches occasionally now, and its nearly 12 months on!! I am also still numb around the scar, I dont know if I will eve get the feeling back
