I'm 39 weeks pregnant and just managed to open the door onto my bump. It really hurt for a minute or so; husband thought I was having a contraction.

Anyway I'm fine now; but I'm rhesus negative. Do I need another anti-d injection for a bump like that?

Probably best to ask a midwife. I was always given anti d if I had a bleed or a fall in my last 2 pregnancies. But never thought about it for bumps and knocks to bump although with 2 kids already I would be having them atleast once a week with all the time I get hit in the stomach by them.

Is your partner positive? If yes then I would just ask the midwife as Aurora said.
I'm B- and only got a rhogam shot at my daughter's birth but my partner was negative as well so it never was an issue.x

I would just call your midwife just to put your mind at rest my mum is the same blood group so I know how much it was a worry for her while she was pregnant with me and my twin. Xxx
