Bruised coccyx

Well am home now and I ca t even sit down mw on ward said my coccyx is bruised from the forceps etc. Anyone had this? How long til u can frigging sit down? I had a 3rd degree tear and epiostomy and they aren't giving me half as much trouble

Sorry not had this although I did feel like I'd been kicked up the arse by a horse after I'd had Kieron. Have u got a rubber ring you could sit on or make a doughnut shape with cushions etc to help with sitting x

Oh no Sorry to hear your in pain.

I've had this and I must agree it does hurt more than the stitches.

For me, though mine was damaged rather than bruised (dont think I'm saying it will be the same for you) and I was in pain for months. I still get pain every now and again.

Try one of those inflatable neck pillows to sit on, £1 and has them in in their travel section. x

Try taking arnica tablets to help the bruising. I did that even tho I didn't show signs of it, just felt like I was bruised. And deffo get something round to sit on x

I have a donut pillow which atleast means a can sit for a bit lol
