Breathlessness

Does anyone else get breathless? i have just over 12 weeks to go and sometimes i get so breathless... even when i am not doing anything! it only lasts seconds though!

Have you had your HB levels checked at about 28/30 weeks I had blood tests which showed my iron level was low and this can cause breathlessness which I had its got better since I started taking iron tablets. Mention it to your MW at your next appt

I did wonder that... i was borderline when i had my HB done at 12 weeks... got a blood test next week... thanks for you help

I had this alot, felt like i couldn't breathe when i put my head down. It's normal and people usually get breathless as the baby gets bigger. it goes away normally when the baby drops down later on though

I have am suffering with this at the moment, usually when i first get in to bed, it goes after 5 mins or so, its a bit scary, i panic a bit cos im asthmatic too.

mine was due to low iron. Sometimes it feels a bit like how I imagine a panic attack to feel
