Is it normal, occasionally i notice i struggle to get my breath, today noticing it more, also sometimes when lying down, ive also noticed at times i can feel my pulse really pulsing? Should i contact midwife? Ive tryed ringing her but answer should i ring triage? X

I get like this! Usually i notice it when going upstairs :/ xxx

Yeah i didnt think much of it when was just breathlessness but then read if you notice palpitations which sometimes i do get checked out so ive booked doctors just incasex

I had palputations last week. It felt like i had an extra beat or skipping a beat. Its the first one i had. If it happens again im gonna ask my midwife xxx

Breathlessness is normal because you have reduced lung capacity with bubba pushing everything up. However if your getting palpitations too you should mention it - likelihood is that it's not a big deal, and it's "normal" levels of breathlessness, but it's best a professional decide what levels are "normal"!!!

I also get this! I got this last night but I'm sure it's nothing! It sounds quite common!:)xxx

Ohh feel better now thanks ladies going doctors at 4.40 just get checked and put mind at ease!!! Like i say its the palpitations that worried me, not happened today but yesterday i could really feel my pulse in my finger, then i could really see it in my neck pulsing away, so ill go get checked neways!! X

Let us know what the doctor says!:)xxx

I've had this Nat, especially going upstairs. Let us know what doc says xx

Sooo been doctors, everythings fine pulse, oxygen, blood pressure, temperature all fine , he said the feeling of the pulse pulsing can happen as bodys working harder or sumet so it feels like your pulse is beating stronger and faster, so not to worry, hes testing me for being anaemic just incase so got blood test tomoz but last time i had blood test i had loads of iron, so im probably not! I feel better for checking tho! X

Totally normal heart and lungs working harder not just with the baby but you have 30% more blood pumping around. This can drop your Hb iron store as dilutes blood and it is the red blood cells that carry the oxygen around your body.

Well hopefully my iron will be ok, still taking my daily vitamins with iron in, so hopefully fine, glad to here its all normalx

I get this, my boyfriend even commented last night I was huffing & puffing whilst eating my dinner!x

It's a constant loop, you get out of breath, panic, gets worse. Just relax, doc says its ok, anxiety won't help, it will make you breath rapidly,

Take a chill pill :)
