Hello ladies :)

I made the huge mistake of buying nursing bras when my boobs suddenly expanded at 11 weeks.

I got fitted yesterday and they've gone from a 32C to a 36E

The ones in mothercare are so expensive, does anyone know where to get some relatively reasonable priced nursing bras?

The lady also told me off for wearing under wired!!

xxxx

Underwired is fine as long as bra fits properly if it doesnt can damage tissue.I haven't bought my nursing bras next as people keep telling me to wait till 35/36 weeks but will see most places have maternity sections online now Tesco Asda matalan next etc so I expect they will do nursing bras x

I'm still wearing underwired as I've got very heavy boobs! and dont like non underwired

as long as they dont dig in it's fine :)

I have got non underwired for bed though, bought one from mothercare for £18 (is a nursing bra so can use afterwards when feeding) and also got a cheap one from Asda for about £5

If you are worried about underwire but prefer them a lady fitting me said just go up a back size so theres no chance of being too tight.

I agree though maternity stuff is expensive! I wish Primark would hurry up and do a huge range

Im guna get measured next week.
Wet to a breastfeeding class yest and she said 37wks oneards is the best time to get meaured.

Really dnt wanna be spending loads on bras tho!!
Problem is im different sizes in different shops!! Xx

Thanks for your advice :)

I'm wearing a really inappropriate push up bra from Primark LOL, seriously it's not mother like at all!!

Ill probably have to part with the extra cash and just go to mothercare :(

xxxxx

I wish I could still wear proper bras! I've been in nursing bras from 30 weeks as normal ones were just soooo uncomfortable, then when I got measured at m&s she told me off for not coming earlier.... Oh well haha! The m&s where I live didn't have much choice if you still want to have a nice looking bust though! I agree Primark NEED maternity & nursing lol!x

H&M do a good maternity range and I believe the bras aren't too expensive xx

I would invest in soft stretchy ones for now like bravado and then remeasure again once supply settles around 6 weeks after birth

Tapatalking so cant see signatures

I got 2 brand new m&s bra's off ebay for about £6! There are loads on there.

I got 2 pairs for £30 from John Lewis. Not the cheapest but a great fit. I got measured at 37 weeks and I got told to go down a back size and up 2 cup sizes for when your milk comes in. My milk came in on Tuesday and the size is perfect as my boobs are huge!!
