I have a pram that is a carry cot which turns into a buggy

Becuase it turns into a buggy, there are straps to hold baby in. But when the baby is tiny, I would assume you dont strap it into the carry cot? This would mean that baby is lying on top of the straps which would be really uncomfortable. Are you supposed to put a matress over them or what? I'm really confused :? :? :?

Please help!!

I have a similar pram. I never strapped my son into the pram/carry cot part. I think I just put the mattress over the top to stop him lying on the straps.

did you not get a matress with the pram? i had a pram/ carry cot with my 1st baby and the pram iv got now with this baby comes with a matress. i would check 1st 2 make sure if does or not but they are reasonable cheap 2 buy.

Ah that explains it then  No it didn't come with a mattress - cheeky buggers, always more expense eh?!!

The pram/car seat/changing bag has already cost me over £420.00, then I've got a mattress/rain cover/blankets/mobile toy thing still to buy.

I swear I don't think my car cost that much lol!!

Do they do matresses specially for prams?

Thanks for the replies
