water supply changed about 2 years ago and we all use bottled water. Been making Lillys feeds up with the tap water but not sure it agreeing with her. Was only taking about 15 oz a day so on Monday put her on to ready made and she has jumped up to about 22oz to 24oz a day. Health visitor says she on the right amount now but I don't know which water to use. will still be boiling water but just need to know which type to use hv was not much good at knowing which one to use othet than not to use mineral water

I use bottled water as our water is ridiculously chalky. I use these guidelines when purchasing it:

If you have to use bottled water to make up a feed, check the label to make sure that the water contains:
  • less than 200 milligrams (mg) a litre of sodium (also written as Na)
  • no more than 250mg a litre of sulphate (also written as SO or SO4)

Been told from local hospital to not use bottled water as there is to many minerals for baby to cope with. This is getting stressfull..x

I was advised to use spring water not mineral water for that reason, much less 'stuff' in it. We used it while abroad with lo.
