Hi Ladies

Starting to think about books for the 1st year with bubs - sat in Waterstones reviewing a load today but made no firm decisions.
Anyone got any recommendations? Or any to particularly avoid!

Nb: I'm going to be one of those mummy's who cuddle Sausage if they cry, so preferably no books that encourage them to "cry it out" please.

Thanks!

sorry, I dont like baby books lol. If cavewomen can do it without, so can I x

The only book I would recommend at all is The Wonder Weeks! It's not a how-to type book at all, but about mental development phases. Very very interesting and pretty spot on too. The writers did like 30 years of research and we have been amazed on the accuracy!!

i always refer to Dept of Health (birth to five - free from your HV) stuff as its all evidence based
