Booking in appointment complete & heard hb!!

Really didn't think I'd get to hear heartbeat as have seen on here that most midwives don't check at booking in appt but it seems to be standard practice in my area to listen at every appt! Felt like such a relief hearing it and she found it really quickly so now I can relax over Christmas and look forward to scan on 4th Jan Plus it means I'll get to hear hb again at 16 weeks so won't feel like such a long wait between scans. Hope more of you are able to listen at future appts..it's so brilliant!x
