Hi,

Just wondered when I should expect my breasts to get bigger?

I only have 3 weeks to go and Im still in the same size bra.
I need to buy nursing bras but am not sure what size to get and worry that if I guess they will be the wrong size.

How much bigger did you guys get?
Did you just get bigger cup sizes or back sizes aswel?
Should I have grown a bit more by now?

Also, I am a 'G' cup now so would guess I will need an 'H' or 'HH' cup, where on earth can I get this size from? (have tried everywhere)
Does 'non wired' support you enough if you have larger breasts?

lucky you not needing new bras yet I went from 36b to a 40d by time was 4months pregnant. I asked advise just afew days ago about getting my nursing bras and was told that mothercare are good and will measure you so you get the right size and to go about a week or 2 before birth. Hope this will help you out abit...happy hunting

I have just come back from Mothercare and I was measured there and they were fantastic, they were so so helpful.

I have gone from a 36b to a 38d now (thought I was 36d but that was ,e guessing!) After the birth you go down a bra size as your bump is gone and up a cup size as your boobs are full with milk so I will be a 36e, I was so confused but they were lovely and explained everything and made sure they fitted right.

They also told me about sleep bras as well, these are good after the babies born as support in bed and you make leak during the night as well so best to wear breastpads!

I came out feeling really happy that I'd be wearing the correct size and felt like I learnt a lot.

Hope this helps x

Hi, thanks for your replies.

The problem also, is that every time I have been measured in a shop they have got it wrong, I have left the shop feeling great with my 2 new bras but then when wearing them I am so uncomfortable.

I am wearing a 36G now and when Ive been measured they have said I was a 40 E, the bras gave me no support and kept moving around and up my back. Only one shop ever got it right!

Hi!!!

I went from 36 E to 40 F now and my breast is still growing. I do not find non-underwired bra really supportive but it is not advised to have wired bras. cannot remember the reason why. I bought mine in Mothercare, 2 for £22. Hope this helped

Mine only went from a 38 A/B to a 40 B/C. Bit disappointed about that as I was hoping for great big boobies!

My nipples are the size of dinner plates though!

Grow boobies, Grow! *wills them to grow* I'm lucky that we have a good bra shop in town, little old ladies who measure your boobies gone from 36C to 36 E or some DD , but they ssaid E will last me longer and they fit like a dream, no longer have that dent in my back where the strap digs in! I think I may need a 38 size though, but will see!

Mine started growing from the beginning and still are :?

Dreading the final size, they are now a 38F (from a 34C).

Before I got married I was wearing a 34 A. It transpired, when I had my wedding lingerie fitted, that I had been wearing the wrong bra size for years. I should really have been a 36C. Don't ask how I stuck it, I thought bras were just uncomfortable anyway! Maybe that's why I didn't grow that much!

Anyway, since I got pregnant I have been a 38C, and stayed at that size, though the back size might need a change now as they are starting to dig in a little. I find the M&S lingerie section better than anywhere else, they do a lovely selection of pretty (it's hard to find a nice one) non-wired bras and maternity bras that give great support.

Hi

I am a 34G cup. I found the best website to be bravissimo.co.uk. They tell you how to get the right size and they are specifically designed for "large" chested women.

Also, Blooming Marvellous do bigger nursing bra's.

I wear a shock absorber 4 and it has no underwire and it is the best bra I have ever worn.

I am definitely starting to get bigger now so will be measuring to get another but I will stick to the shock absorbers if i can (apart from when I have to get nursing bra's), they are more expensive but worth every penny.
