Blood tests

Hey girls Just wondering do you have to have any more blood tests after the 28 week ones? I had the routine ones done at 8 weeks and then another couple since then because I kept having dizzy spells and then the other routine ones at 28 weeks which are exactly the same as the 8 week ones. Getting a bit fed up of being poked and prodded!

I had some done at 34 weeks, ermmmm full blood count, can't remember what else though. But they say i shouldn't need anymore taken now.

The last ones I had were around 26 weeks

I don't think there are any more routine ones after 28 weeks. If your iron stores were low they may recheck your FBC again later on

I've been told I'll have more bloods at my next appointment (34 weeks).

I had mine taken for the last time on monday, so 34 weeks. Think it varies between different areas though, so the only person who can tell you for sure is your midwife x

they said i was to have more bloods taken at my next appointment which is 37 weeks. I think just to check anemia levels etc
