Hi all my doc rang before wanting me to have a blood test for lh FSH rubella immunity and something else the date I'm booked in for will be cd29 will it be accurate enough I'm confused as to why he/she wants them done I had it done in January including progesterone and testosterone which indicated pcos

Hi, it would make more sense to have FSH, LH and also Oestradiol tested on Cycle Day 2 or Cycle Day 3

Rubella immunity could be checked any time.

Progesterone is normally checked 7days after you ovulate, so if you ovulate CD14 progesterone would be CD21. What is your cycle length? in most cases if you subtract 14 days from your Cycle Length you get the cycle day you ovulated on.

If possible I would also ask the GP to check your TSH, Free T3, Free T4 & Thyroid Antibodies, these four are all to check your thyroid which can have a big effect on TTC
