Bleeding!

Well over the last few days the bleeding has been on and off, I've just stood up and felt loads, it's soaked a pad in about 30 mins, is this normal? Theres no clots only blood but loads so a little worried xxx

How long since you gave birth? I think I would call a doctor to be sure. This only happened to me in the first few days. Hope you're ok!

I had this but mine was like 2 weeks later and massive clots but was told to just keep an eye on it x

i had this like 2 weeks after birth i thought id stopped bleeding then suddenly had loads at once! then it stopped.
i was told its fine unless there are clots.... but its up to you might be worth getting checked. how long since birth?? xxx

She's 10 days old. I got a bath after my post and there's been no more since, it's was worrying as its almost stopped then there was so much. I'm at the mw on fri I'll mention it then xxx

My mw has told me this can happen for up to 6 weeks even with a c-section when there's meant to be a bit less bleeding. I'm still getting it especially if I've walked too far.....in fact I ran out of maternity pads this morning and ended up waddling down to Boots wearing one of Berties nappies

Omg pmsl!!!! How funny! I've not had no more since yesterday. I'm expecting it to start again though. Xxxx

Yeah I was told not to trust it at all until 6 weeks. She said if I still bled after then to get checked out but she was deadly serious about it. I'll take her advice cos gushing blood without a pad on is never going to happen in the privacy of your own home is it?!

Looks like we're all going to be wearing pads for the next 6 weeks then lol xxx
