Sorry guys - I know this question has probably been asked a million times but I could do with some advice. My gums have been bleeding slightly for a while now but nothing too bad. Last night however after I brushed my teeth, my gob was bright red with blood! I looked like sommat out of Dracula! Is there anything I can do or is it normal or do I need to see a dentist? Trouble is I dont have one cos i have just moved. What should I do? Thank you in anticipation of your responses, Graciously yours, Lady Dracula.
totally normal hun...i have it on and off. if you can get a dentist though you should cos dentistry is free for pregnant women and also for a year after the birth too so make the most of it!!
I was told to brush with a softer toothbrush, use Corsodyl mouthwash twice a day, and to floss regularly. I do all of those regularly and still get the odd bleed (esp with the flossing) but not half as bad, and it seems to be working on my poor gums.
