Well I haven't been on here for a long long time but I really need some help! I am seeing a guy who has a daughter who will be 8 next weekend and i'm really stuck on what to buy her. I want something unusual as I don't like getting normal stuff! But I just don't know what to get. I just want her to love whatever I get! Any ideas??? Thanks
Hiya What's your budget? Is there anything she's particularly in to? Is she a girly girl or a tomboy?
is she into animals? If so could you sponsor an animal at a local zoo for her so it's close enough for her to go visit.... and maybe arrange the visit on her birthday or close to it. I did this for my niece when she was 10 and she loved it!
Lets see.... The xmas list so far for Tia (whos 8) consists of... The new barbie doll (some princess one) Bratz show biz doll (again know what it looks like) Polly Pocket... (anything really as long as it has rubber clothes and not the magnet ones) The new Harry Potter DVD The new Barbie DVD Transformers DVD Bead making kit (no parent will thank you for this gift ) One of those overhead projectors where the kids can draw on them. Make up sets Clothes that are "in fashion mum".. (*sniggers*) A watch because she is learning to tell the time at school. This year is a short list. But Tia is very much a girly girl... and 8 year olds have very specific tastes... So try and find out if she is a girly girl, tom boy etc as Urchin said...
