Bikini wax...

I'm off on hols to Spain at the start of September. I'm thinking about going and getting my bikini line waxed but I've not done it before so I have a couple of questions...

How long or short should the hair be to be waxed? Should I trim it beforehand or just leave it be?

How long before I go away should I get it done? Is a day or two ok or will it need a bit longer to 'settle'?

I have done a home wax before but it ended badly with bruising and missing skin! So, I'm thinking I'll leave it to the professionals from now on.

Ooooh and roughly what does it cost?

I had my first wax about a month ago went for a Brizillian id grown my hair for 6 weeks , i wouldnt trim it just leave it. and trim after.

I got mine done 1 day before i went away and was loverly only thing i thought it would of lasted 2-3 weeks but it didnt it only took 8 days and started growing back , but they say the more yu get it done the hair gets finer , and my hairs dark and quite corse so maybe because it was my first time.

Also it didnt hurt as much as expected, dont get me wrong it wasnt a breeze was a tad uncomfortable but bearable
