BFP retest...

I retested this morning and the line is definitely there... stronger than yesterday but still v faint.

HOORAY!!!!!!!!!! I will now believe it! Well it might start to sink in at least!

Yeah tescos are great!

I think the clearblue only show positive if the HCG is high, if you take it apart you will see if there is a faint line or not

Is that true??? I took the clear blue apart and there was a faint line on it! How can that say negative if you have a clearly visible line?? That sucks!

(BTW I'm not sure how to do the quote thing on here yet so if this message comes out a bit weird that's why!)

Yeah i had a positive tescos one then a neg clear blue when i was pregnant so took it apart and there was actually a very faint line so I took it as positive - thats how I know!

They must have to measure a certain amount of HCG in your urine to be positive, I wont use clearblue again for that reason (unless i take em apart!).

Im sticking with Tescos ones, they are great!

Sorry to stick my two peneth in but I read some where that you should NOT take clear blue tests apart as they dont work the same as normal tests and will have a line which doesnt mean its positive its just the way those tests work annoyingly cant remember where it said that maybe pee on a stick site will have to go look!

there is quite a long article on it and how it might work so that the lines can come up even though test is negative, perhaps the clearblue just wasnt as sensitive as the other test you used!
