Can someone tell me if this could be the start of something ?
I have been awake all night after trying to sleep from 10:30pm - i just couldnt get comfy, then i got emotional, THEN when i laid on my left side i felt sick with the uncomfortableness in my tummy.

Bubs was squirming about like mad, then tummy went hard and i couldnt breathe, then it went
Then it keeps happened exactly the same every 20 minutes or so and it takes my breath away - not painful just very uncomfortable. I feel like i need to poo but when i sit there i cant go, and then my tummy relaxes :wall: Really strange

I am sat up now and the tightenings are still happening but i cant feel him squirming so much now.
Do these sound like BH's or something more ? I just thought that bubs should be calm and quiet if it was anythign more than BH's?

I'm due to be induced tomorrow night but earlier i think i may have had a show as there was a thick stuff when i wiped (like egg white consistency and up until now i've had nothing like that) and shopping in morrisons was VERY uncomfortable.

Any ideas? What can i do to ease this ? Feeling VERY sick now :puke:

Ohhh I was sick both times at the start of labour - sounds like things are starting for you to me :cheer:

I think I have heard if you have a bath it will stop BH but will bring on proper contractions.... oh yes and if you drink water then that is supposed to stop BH too!!

Good luck, I hope you have managed a bit of

Are you going in for your induction today??

thanks guys
Yes, i;m being induced this evening

I managed to get back to bed t 4:30am but had horrible restless legs so propped them up for a bit and ive slept on and off to now which is better than nothing - i DO feel like ive had 3 rounds with mike tyson though, my whole body aches

Cant wait to get my baby here and start to feel better again

Lots of luck hun for this evening - do you have a text buddy??

I shall keep everything crossed that you get to meet your LO within the next 24 hours.........what a fabulous Xmas present that would be

The night I went into labour I was exactly like this!

Could NOT get comfy in bed, and Isla was squirming so much, more than Ive ever known her (I now she was putting herself ever so helpfully " back to back" little bugger), and Im sure she made my waters break

I was highly emotional and feeling sick, ended up getting up at 3.45am (then waters went) coz I couldnt take anymore!

She was quite active during my labour, not calm at all.

Good luck for this evening hun

It def sounds like it could be the start of something! As for baby's movements my midwife told me that it's not true that baby's don't move much in labour - in fact it can be quite the opposite and that was def true for me - Calum was very active through my labour. And I did feel sick too.

Really hope when you get to the hospital something has started for you!
