... and apparently it is very typical for 3rd babies to have all these false starts which have been doing my head in over the last few weeks. Apparently this can go on for weeks and weeks with a 3rd - yup, I can certainly vouch for that! - but the MW said that on the plus side, when it finally really starts properly, 3rd labours are usually very quick. I hope she's right! Feel I kind of deserve having my baby behave like a typical 3rd in that respect, too, seeing as she's following the textbook so closely as far as the false starts are concerned! Apparently she's in the best position for a quick labour, so that does bode well!
