Yesterday i had really really bad cramps, so bad i was cept vomiting. Then i felt a 'gush' and i was bleeding very heavy. And the pains were absolutly horrible, i was convinced i was miscarrying.
I went to the hospital and they kept me in. They gave me an internal straight away and said by cervix was closed so id have to wait till the morning to find out through a scan.

I had my scan this morning and the baby is alright! (altho growing a little slow - altho they said thats not worrying right now) While they were scanning me i started loosing ALOT of blood, it came right through my jeans and everything. So they done another internal and siad they have no idea where the blood is coming from. (honestly ive never seen sop much blood in my life and the nurses seemed alarmed by how much)
After a while ive been sent home (i wanted to come home) and been told to have bed rest not to lift ANYTHING, hoover etc etc.
i still feel sore and im still bleeding quite abit (been bleeding for 24 hrs now) but mainly i feel so exhausted all the time its crazy, i just feel like going upstaires makes me want to sleep for 8 hours.

im about to go to bed now. My mum and partner are having the baby - like they did yesterday and day before.. so im feeling abit guilty right now, but also like i cant do anything lol.

I got my scan pic - will scan it later/tomorrow to show you. :)

Anyway, anybody have/experienced anything like this? Im just so puzzeled as ive been given no answer where the blood is coming from. They told me to go back in 3 days if it hasnt stoped itself.

I bled abit during my last pregnancy - but NOTHING AT ALL like this. At all... this whole thing just feels really weird. Id almost come to terms id lost my baby last night. :(

Oh dear you poor thing - it sounds really frightening for you. Great news that the baby is ok though.

Don't really have any knowledge of this personally but am sure there's others who will be able to offer some advice.

Just take it easy and let your family do everything - rest lots and hope the bleeding stops soon x

Oh no hun bet you was terrified glad ur ok now big hugs from me

I can't offer any advice sorry. Sounds loike you have been through the mill though. Hope you do manage to get plenty of bed rest x x x

Sorry I don't have any advice or experience of this but I hope you are feeling better soon and the bleeding stops, at least you know baby is ok

Oh God, that must have been so frightening for you. I am SO pleased that you and the baby are both ok though. xx

Poor you. I'm no doctor, but I think heavy bleeding like that could be from a low lying placenta? Surely they should have seen that in the scan though?

Hope you're alright hun. I do know what it's like to be on bedrest when there's a baby to look after, I had that as well.

Let your OH and mum take the strain for now, I'm sure they're happy to help. You just concentrate on yourself and your little bean.......

aww bless you hun it must of been so scary glad your ok now
just take it easy
manda xx

Aww, you must have seen terrified, poor you, what a really scary experience. I am glad the baby is doing ok though, that is brilliant. Don't feel guilty about resting, get lost of rest and take care of yourself.

Hi

I had this type of heavy bleeding in my first pregnancy, went to the hospital, and they could find nothing wrong at all and didnt know where the blood was coming from.

I went on to have a normal pregnancy and a healthy baby. So try not to worry too much, and get plenty of
