BabyHawk slings & Customs?

Hello ladies, I might order from Babyhawks a carrier but am concerned at getting charged customs fees (adding on about another £10-15)

What are your experiences? Have you been charged?

I didn't have to pay extra on mine

I think it's pretty random but you would be unlucky if you got caught.

Where are they? I am in the states and if you didnt mind waiting until I got home at the end of Dec I could easily take it home in my luggage and forward it - as long as it isnt big!!

I didn't pay customs for mine - didn't even occur to me that I might have to

Your babyhawk actually costs less than the amount of $ you get charged customs on so dont worry!

I bought a couple of Mei Tai's secondhand instead - my oh is ALWAYS getting hit for customs when ordering from abroad so don't think I'll take the chance - £55ish + another 20% for duty and collection 'fees' = too much

So got a BH, Kozi & Sachi for £90
