I bought Jamie those little velcro Lonsdale trainers before he was born, put them on today and he nearly fits into them but what age can they start wearin those kind of shoes?

He has little bootees when he is out to keep his feet warm and they are like slippers, these trainers are stiffer in comparison so should I wait til he is a bit bigger??

Thanks for any help!

I was told not to put them in shoes until they're walking as it damages their feet. I did the same with Ryan but I didn't know then.

I'd wait until he's bigger with trainers, that's what I bought. He looked so cute and I still have them 7 years later, lol. I won't do that with Jade though.

Harley still dont own a pair of shoes. he just wears slipper socks or lil slippers. much more comfy for him

Colbys on her thirs pair of soft trainers, they are the soft leather reebok ones, sorry i wouldnt pay the price for them and got these ones brand new from ebay for 99p :cheer:
Adele didnt wear her first pair of real walking shoes till she was almost 2, although she could walk by then i just couldnt get any proper shoes to fit, so we went through quite a fair amount of soft shoes with her

Colbys on her third pair of soft trainers, they are the soft leather reebok ones, sorry i wouldnt pay the price for them and got these ones brand new from ebay for 99p :cheer:

I bought loads of baby shoes for Seren but they were really hard and I didn't like them. I got shoo shoos in the end, they are fab, made of leather and so roomy for little feet to grow. I only put them on Seren if we were out to keep her feet warm, and now she is walking using the furniture they stop her slipping on laminate floor.

as long as they are pram shoes and they have room in them you can put baby in them as soon as you want.

Ellis was wearing shoes when he was tiny but now he is bigger he will not let me put them on his feet, he curls his feet up so they will not go in!!!

hehe xxxxx

i never buy shoes until my kids have been walking unaided for 3 weeks.
I lthinks its better to leave feet shoeless until they are walking.
