Hi girls hope your all doing well. Baby Harry finally arrived on Friday 14 june at 7:28pm weighing 7lb 13. Hes absolutely gorgeous but my god labour was hard work. I finally started getting contractions on the Tuesday night when I was 4 days over due. Was managing ok at home till the weds night when I went up to hospital only to be told I was only 2cm dilated so had to go home again. Wed night was bad and went back hospital on the Thursday again to be told I was still 2cm and would have to go home again they did say my contractions were massive so they didn't think it would be long. So off home I went again. Thursday night was hell and by 8:30 Friday morning I just couldn't cope any more and went back hospital only to be told I still wasn't dilating but thankfully the doctor said the would be keeping me in and breaking my waters to help me a long. So this was done and they finally let me on the gas and air ended up still having to go on the drip literally as soon as they gave me that contracions were awful. They then realised baby was back to back and they think thats why I couldn't dilate pain was so bad at this point I askes for epidural. All I can say is thank god for the epidural it was amazing. Got checked again at 5 and I had all of a sudden fully dilated waites an hour and had to start to push not sure what happened or what time but all of a sudden lots of people came running in and suddenly I was whisked to theater they said I was going to have a section but endes up getting cut and having forceps by this point I really didn't care and just wantes him out. What felt like forever finally gor to hear that magical cry and it was the most amazing thing. Any way ill stop going on now were both doing great and hoping to get home later today. One thing I did just want to say if anyone reads this who has suffered recurrent misscareges dont give up hope after having 5mc I was starting to wonder if I would ever be a mum and here I am he really is my little miracle don't give up hope !! Xxx
