Ok - sorry if I'm being really thick  but I've been given a 2nd hand carrier by a friend, one of the ones where baby can either face into chest or outwards and straps go over back & buckle at sides.

BUT it didn't come with instructions - how do you actually get baby in and out. Do you strap it on first and then put baby in... or do you get baby in and then strap it on? :?

Thank ye kindly :)

Hi hun,

With most of them it is best to strap it on yourself first and then put the babe in.

I used traditional baby carriers with my two older children and they were ok, but did my back in. Now i have a kari me (two actually, in different colours. I bought the lilac and my OH was upset coz he didnt feel comfy with the colour, so I bought him a black one for Valentines  ) and I much prefer it, as you dont get the back ache. If you are interested in slings and stuff, pm melanie, she is the sling queen around here!
