babies head is engaged at 34 weeks

hi,

im just a bit worried that im going to have this baby early because it has engaged so early.
this is my 3rd child and my first engaged at 38 weeks and my second was the day before i had her, im just getting really worried that im going to have a prem baby.

I went to the midwife last thursday, i was 31 +5 and she said the babies head was down and resting on the top of the pelvis, i looked at her worried and she said it doesn't mean i will go into labour,

I got told when i was having Amy that the head doesn't need to be engaged to go into labour and that is what contractions are for- to push the baby down!! But then i thought that must be right because how do women with Breech babies go into labour, My aunty didn't want a c section and all 3 of hers were breech, bum first and they went with her wishes and had them vaginally.
Don't worry too much Hun, if you are worried ring the hospital and ask, that is what they are there for.
