My mum gave Stanley a little of her (cooled) cup of tea the other day and now he goes bananas everytime he sees someone with a mug. He LOVED it!

I'm wary to give him it because of the caffeine (my mum is much more relaxed and I'm happy for her to try him with whatever) but I was wondering if anyone else gave their babies tea?

What do you think?

Keeley has little sips on it every now and again... she doesn't seem that bothere by it really :D

same here kris mum gave Dior some one, now she dips her dummy in minne all the time, i dont ming her haviong about 5oz of it about once a week if that but i rarely drink tea anyway

muy mum used to give me warm bottles of tea when i was little all the time

Tea and coffee reduce iron absorbtion, but if he is only having an occasional sip I can't see it causing too much of a problem. If you are realy unhappy about him having ordinary tea you can get fennel tea - Seren loves it. Bless Stan, he is growing so quick

I know

Are there particular benefits to children in fennel tea? We have a lot of herbal teas, particularly green, but that's still too caffeinated for Stanley.

theres no way id give my 9 year old tea never mind my 9 month old :rotfl: they are hyper enough. My sister gavehher son tea from easrlu on though and its had no ill affectson him. Im sure they would survive much worse :rotfl:

my third child used to love fenel tea but i can't find it anywhere lately. :(

I haven't been able to find it in the shops so I have to buy it online.

oh thankyou! i was waiting for you to reply  i used to see it in asda but nothing. not in boots either. ill look online. thatnkyou :)

You can get decaffeinated teabags too if you're worried. I bought some today to try to reduce my caffeine consumption, I've not tried them yet. Thery're just PG tips ones.

You can buy it on the Hipp Organic site but only in bulk. I bought the Clipper Organic one from the normal tea ailse as i'm sure it's probably no different.

You can get baby herbal teas, I bought some online from a seller in Sweden I think :?
