At what age do you start potty training?

My little boy is 1 years old I get married in july I would ideally like him to be potty trained by then or is it too early I dont want to rush him but i dont know what age is recommended? any advice welcome

I've heard that babies can't control their bladders until they're about 18months. Double check that tho, I could be wrong x
