Aspirin in pregnancy

Anybody else on aspirin throughout their pregnancy?

I had pre eclampsia in my first pregnancy and pregnancy induced high bp in my second so they are putting me on aspirin every day until I give birth to try and control it..

Haven't really been given much info, are their any cons to taking it?

I've known a few people to be on it due to pre ec throughout pregnancy but not myself so not sure of cons or whatever. But I did wanna stop by and congratulate you on your return to the forum and pregnancy.

I'm on it for different reasons. The only con I've had so far is you bleed a lot lol when they take your blood it takes ages to stem the bleeding and if you get even a tiny cut its a plaster job coz it won't stop! Also you can bruise a bit easier. But I've not noticed that. Congratulations though x x

I'm the same, I'm on it because I had pre-eclampsia last time, haven't noticed any cons x

I'm on it as well for the same reason. think it's just like ery said it thins your blood but don't think there's anything else bad
