Are jacket potatoes ok to eat?

Just a thought as I know that it says to wash root veggies and avoid soil.

Are jackets potatoes ok?

Yea there fine to eat i've had loads!!! Just give them a good scrub first and enjoy! lol x

My midwife didn't say anything about potatoes. I should hope they're ok as I had a jacket potato for my tea today.

Never heard that you should avoid them... or had anyone mention soil to me before

I'm sure as long as you're not munching on them fresh from the ground they'll be fine!

The soil thing is because soil can contain the same parasite as cat pooh which can cause miscarriage, but don't panic! Just wash all fruit and veg thouroughly and eat as much as you want!
