After much discussion with my OH, I have decided I would like to go back to work 4 days a week when my mat leave ends.
I work in recruitment which is a sales based role so the large part of my job involves speaking to/meeting clients as well as interviewing, so obviously there are times I have to fit around clients. We do work to sales targets as well. I know that they have to give serious consderation to my request by law and can only turn me down for business reasons, so if I approach my boss knowing that I can reach my targets doing 4 days and am prepared to be accessible to clients if needs be on my days off, what other business reasons could there be for her to turn me down?
She is a great boss but a bit of a ball buster!
