got a previous post of what should go in my hospital bag I hopefully wont be having labour as I am a c section so should not need a labour bag?

I don't know of another post but I do have my hospital "what to bring with you on admission" booklet infront of me, it says:

Three changes of nightwear (cotton preferable)
Slippers
Bathrobe/dressing gown
Personal toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush etc)
Hairdryer

For Labour:

Waterspray for face
sponge/wash cloth
lipbalm
pair of loose fitting socks
hairband to keep hair off face
Camera

(if your hospital doesn't supply it: sanitary pads and disposable pants)

For baby to go home in:

Vest
Baby all-in-one suit or gown
Shawl
Bonnet, bootees and mittens (cold weather), cotton hat (sunny weather)
Car seat

is everyone bringing their car seat or getting someone to bring it in when u are leaving

I'll probably just pop mine in the boot and keep it there until I go into hospital so i'll have it with me when I go in.

ive got my sister to bring the car seat and that when i am leaving its all been arragned lol

um, you need much more clthes for baby. not just 'going home stuff' you might be in for a few day (especially after a c section) I had an ormal labour and if the midwifes had thier way id have been kep in for 5 days. (i got out on day 3 cos i begged)

lots, LOTS of babygrows, and vests. baby gloves too.
