Anyone Vegetarian and Pregnant?

    Just wondering if theres anyone who follows a vegetarian diet and is or has been pregnant?
    Looking for any advise nutrition wise!!! xxx

    Nope sorry I like my meat :) I have read that nuts and eggs are good source of protein though. Hopefully someone with experience will reply but if you don't get many you should try posting in pregnancy chat as it goes to the masses there :) xx

    I've been vegetarian since I was about 8 years old (by my own choice!!), so am clued up on a vegatarian diet, but am a bit concerned about being pregnant & being vegetarian! I couldnt eat meat, so hoping that there are no risks associated with being veggie & pregnant!!
    babyem....I know how you feel, my diet has become rather restricted over the past couple of weeks!!! Hope you feel better soon!! xx

    Oh I see, well I don't think you'll harm baby from your diet. Meat eaters have to take supplements too so I would just eat what you usually eat but obviously avoiding the no no foods xx

    As long as you get plenty of fluids, you'll be ok x
