Hi girls,

Thankfully I didn't suffer much with pp problems, everything healed and went back to normal, except my bladder ? Or atleast I'm not sure if its post partum related or just me ?

Before I had jackson, I hardly went to the toilet (for a pee) prob about 3-4 times daily. Then when getting pregnant as you know your never out of the toilet.

But since having J, now when I pee I pee a normal amount but I still feel as if I need to go, so ill try and nothing comes out but say if I coughed some will come out bit by bit then I feel empty. I've never had this before so its weird to explain lol.

So I've tried tensing then pushing and it comes eventually. Is there something wrong with me ? Or is this just a normal thing that occurs ? I haven't got any uti's I checked that before but I am now 6m pp.

Also, if I sneez cough or laugh when not at the loo I can hold my pee, so its not that my pelvis floors r too loose ?! Sometimes I can be in there 15mins and I still don't feel empty. Sometimes I end up going back in like 30 mins later for another normal amount pee ? So I'm not emptying properly?!

Help ? LOL.

Thanks xxxxx

I don't think that's normal, but it's probably nothing sinister, pregnancy messes us about in so many ways.

When you finish peeing, if you lean forward it will help you get the last bit out.

But I think you should see your GP.

Every bloody time I mention something wrong with me they just say oh, related to pregnancy that's why I thought I'd check first lol xxxxx

Normal....happened to me at about 6 months after.....it does get better though. I used to feel like I needed to go even when I had just been!!!

Weird how it only started so long after birth too x

Yeah its only recently, I looked up my symptoms which point to non obstructive urinary retention, a few causes listed but vaginal child birth is the one that suits me so I guess it is a post partum kinda thing.

Apparently muscle/nerve damage.

The obstructive retention is like kidney stoned etc but I doubt its anything like that as I have no infection.

Oh I have suffered with this too, I found out when doing star jumps during a circuit training class! I'm in the loo every hour or so it's really annoying x

I have this too. Its sooooo annoying! Sat there for fucking ages feeling like you need a wee and bugger all will come out and then... eventually... the teeniest little dribble in the world and... aaaaah that's better.
