May sound crackers unless you've experienced it...

Basically just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with animals not just horses? For non horsey people- female horse who's currently pregnant.

A broodmare on our yard who is currently in foal has taken an extreme liking to me, she's following me around and sticking her nose in my personal bubble all the time, very gentle and observant, it was kind of her doing that I knew I was pregnant again! I know she knows, just as she was extremely aware when i miscarried last year!
Just find it so heart warming and amazing that animals in general can sense things even before we can! Even the dog wont leave me alone and insists on sitting on my knee and pelvic area!

Hey, I think you're right that they definitely can sense things. I have a friend who owns horses and I do respite for this little boy with extreme special needs. She told me to bring him and I didn't for ages because he can have quite severe behaviours and I was nervous. Anyway, I took him and this lively but friendly horse who I had rode in the past just stopped dead still. Literally didn't move a muscle for about 30 mins to allow him to approach and stroke with my support. It was amazing!

My cat knows I'm pregnant and hasn't slept on the bed since I found out. I think she's miffed and thinks she's being replaced x

I definitely think animals know. I work as a home carer and some of my clients have dogs, they used to be fine with me...now all they do is bark at me and run away!xx

Yes, DH's dog (who I'm now 'mummie' to anyway) insists on sitting on some part of me now, she did it in the week before I got BFP and then mc'd back at the end of November and then started again after Xmas, got this BFP on NYE. She keeps following me and checking on me too.

I'm horsey - yes that happens and also sometimes Stallions can become very interested in you as well but be careful if you're around stallions of course! Don't want one of those mounting you haha xx
