anti bodies in blood

I had a series of blood tests today... Glucose test, full blood count and one to look for antibodies in my blood.

I'm Anegative... What does it mean if they do find antibodies?

I'm a net aswell, it just means your baby must be a positive blood group and you've transfused blood between each other but that's fine. You get an injection that will stop it affecting any future pregnancies. It's nothing to worry about x

Did yours show up with antibodies at your booking in bloods then kayley?

I have them so waiting to see if gone up much at 28 week bloods. ( Mine usually dont go up much )

If you have them theyll get you to see a consultant, they can cause antibodie related jaudice and blood thickness issues at birth or fetal anemia in pregnancy if very high , im having another scan at 32 weeks to chk baby's happy. Ive had them for all but one of my pregnancies now so not expecting any surprises now.

Nothing showed up at my first lot of bloods I don't think...

Just wanted to know what it meant if they do. Fingers crossed it will be okay.

I'm having my anti d injection on Friday.
