Hi all I'm new too

I've been reading for a couple of weeks and thought it was time to say hi.

My name's Dee I'm 38 and me and DH are hoping to get lucky in the near future with baba no. 1. We just got married in April and found out I was pg on honeymoon but it wasn't to be and I had a m/s at 7.5 weeks:( still onwards and upwards and fingers crossed the next little beanie will hold fast.

I was totally hooked on the weddings forum and had to go cold turkey to wean myself off it So here I am again another day, another subject and another forum. You all seem really nice and supportive and I look forward to getting to know you all. (they were very bitchy on the weddings forum)

Hi hun

Welcome to the forum!

Sorry about your m/c.

I hope you get your BFP very quickly!

All the girls on here are lovely, so you are in good hands! xx

Hi Tam

Thanks for that - I was reading about what happened to you last week and was so delighted your baby is ok. I come from Dublin originally and so your signature caught my eye - best of luck for the rest of your pregnancy.

Thank you hun!!! Scare all over now...and breathing a sigh of relief, onwards and upwards!

I was wanting to move to Ireland, but OH thinks it's a bit too hasty, I have only been there once, and that was years ago!!! But even so..................

 xx

Well even if I am a bit biased it was a fabulous place to grow up and I love going back. Funily enough my DH who's English is very kean to move over there but house prices are sky high so think we'll have to stay put for a few more years. I would definitely recommend going for another holiday you both might fall in love with the place and not want to come back. :D

I've just come back from a holiday in West Cork - my friends moved there 3 years ago after falling in love with it on holiday!

Hi and welcome Smurf. Congrats on the wedding - don't you think being a bride and planning a wedding turns you into a prize bitch? It did me and I'm normally the most easy-going person! Maybe the wedding forum lot are just suffering from the me-me-me-me-me-me-me-me-me-ME sysndrome! Sorry about your mc - my first pregancy ended at 10 weeks :( but as you say onwards..... baby dust to you x

Hi Thanks Peanut - D'you know what I probably was at times too and you're not wrong there was definitely a sense of me me me and one upmanship about the place I just used to keep my head down, the cattyness was hysterical and so aggressive sometimes perhaps because they weren't speaking face to face they felt it was ok to speak their minds but oh my god sometimes it just went so far below the belt they were in a different world. Anyway glad it all behind me I'd have the day again in a heartbeat but not the planning. Planning for a baba is so much more fun.

Sorry for your loss too I hope you'll be luck soon.

See Tam take your OH over for a few days and you never know . . .

Hi Smurf,

Hope you get your BFP soon! Sorry to hear about your m/c, I had one at 6 weeks last september, think someone else here put it really nicely, that its your bodies way of preparing, and if it doesn't stick then it should be seen your body having a trial run ready for the next one.

Lots of baby dust for you!

Hope to see you posting your BFP soon and joining first tri

Em x

Thanks Emmylou that it such a good way of looking at it.

I am due AF next Tue/Wed so keeping my fingers and toes firmly crossed that it won't arrive and I can test.
