Lately i've been losing my temper so easily its making my familys life hell. They only have to say something and i take it the wrong way and snap and scream at them. Is this normal and is there any thing i can do to calm down a little bit?

yes its normal its a hormonal thing i used to get to the point in my previous pregnancies i would feel bad for snapping and like oh i really shouldnt have done that but i woulndt appologise this is when i realised i think making a consious note of it is a great start just try counting to 5 before you say anything make an effort to be over nice and very sickning lol lots of darling anf please many you very much ect ect i know it sounds mad but it puts the other people in a better mood so your less likely to snap at then and if the last few days you have been a bit ott with the snapping they are going to be on edge anyway and when you do snap at them make a mental note of why and how it happend then try and avoid it again if you oh has a go at you turn on the tears ;) always works :) and then try to be allot happier it ius hard woth hormones but sometimes we have to be stronger than them they take over and we have to be in the ones in charge really its not your fault bab! you just gonna have to curbe it if its getting in the way x x x

Thank you so much! I'm trying really hard even though i ended up driving like 100 miles today just to get away from all the arguing then got guilted into coming home. And they wonder why i get really annoyed! Luckily i have no OH but for my family its not so lucky. Nevermind. I will try all the techniques though! Thank youuuu!!! xxx

your welcome :) it is really hard when the hormones take over i find i say things without thinking or just get that im really angry stay away from me attitude without even noticing - think its a primative instinct im pregnant keep away im protecting my young hehe!! but yer i know what you mean about people they dont understand unless they are in your position x

I'm a narky bitch at the best of times but i go into hyper biatch mode when i'm pregnant. I agree its hormones and even if its not, its a good excuse to be nasty for 9 month  xx

And if you're caught with a brick in your handbag who would question it ;)

Happy new year to you all

OH just has to look at me and I'm off on one.. I can't wait to be back to my normal non hormonal self  Sounds normal though.. I'm lucky to have very very patient and understanding people around me.. And also very lucky to have insurance on my mobile  It is usually what my anger is taken out on, that sounds awful

Work can tell by my face apparently I just have a look  But I have to say I think I had that before pregnancy and its definately here afterwards

I love that we all go crazy! Makes you feel less like a wierdo when your screaming at someone when you know everyone else is doing it too. Can't wait to get back to normal though...Im sure the father can only take so much of the crazy me (and my phone as well...also glad for the insurance | )!

Glad i not the only one who looses the plot when pregnant - thats how i knew i was pregnant - first time i lost my temper with an adult in six years (and with the headmistress). Have had to explain to my children why i have been so snappy and that if i've told them twice that once to many times anyways. Have found myself getting ultra organised making rotas and making sure they stick to them, and trying to get my youngest to be more independant so when the baby comes its not such a shock to their routine - so i suppose there are good points to having less pateince hehe

Pregnant? :oooo: No I just have anger issues

 @ Mamafy

I hope mine goes:shock: Have to say OH has had the patience of a saint.. But I think it's wearing thin now

Aww I'm the same; losing my temper, having proper childish tantrums! But it's always so ridiculous that me and OH end up laughing about it 5 minutes later! And then I sometimes start to cry... haha talk about emotional rollercoaster!!
Although if OH tells me to stop having a chicken, I love being able to blame the hormones ;)

Me and hubby have argued alot lately, you know we stayed up till 3 in the morning lastnight arguing i ended up going sleep without a kiss but i just fell asleep and forgot all about the arguement

Its annoying because were always bickering now an he thinks im over panicking over this pregnancy well yes i am but i dont wana argue about it :oooo: or do i lmao

Does it happen for the whole 9 months its no wonder i feel like im having an early break down at 20 years old  lolx

I hate the crying bit myself I cry at anything now its stupid!
