Pregnant!!!

I'm not saying I didn't feel pregnant before but I am now having to slow down big time. Think I have discovered that my DH is gonna have to take over the dog walking from now on as it is leaving my hips sore. Gutted as this is only exercise I have been getting since BFP. :-(

Getting up from sofa is taking longer now as I have to edge myself forward to edge before I can stand up. I'm 40 not 90!!!

Bending over is now proving sore at the bottom of my bump. DH has now lost his massive trackie bottoms whilst sitting in house as they are more comfortable that my own trackies or even maternity jeans.

Moan, moan moan lol I know this will be all worth it in the end but I will have approx 11 weeks to get through 1st of all. I'm not used to this. Normally I'm on the go all the time. Gonna have to lie up and get DH to pamper me :-)

I have really started to feel pregnant now too! It is really annoying when u wanna get stuff done but ur body is saying no! Lol

Work is getting alot harder to cope with now, especially when they expect u to work at ur normal pace and give u no breathing room. Or to just make this worse leave u so short staffed that u end up doing 3 people's jobs on ur own!! Its been so bad this bank holiday weekend that i have really peed my spd off, and im now limping around work still trying to catch up on everything! Ok rant over :D

Maternity leave cant come round quick enough!!! 19 days and counting!! :D xxx

Yup Yup, I started feeling this last week :)

It will all be fine in afew weeks we will all have our bubba's here and we will be complaining we don;t get enough sleep lol :) xxxx

It's weird, I don't feel pregnant in terms of feeling heavy in my tummy or anything (I think the little man is still laying side ways) but I agree with your body telling you to slow down. I walked a bit fast on a dog walk last week and had to sit down for 10 minutes I couldn't catch my breath at all. I also have to remember to turn slower if I want to roll over in bed. I'm now getting really excited though, especially once I hit 30 weeks :) xxx

I have slowed right down walking too also pushing my son is a challenge x think baby has had a growth spurt this last week i felt huge yesterday and very tight bump this morning though nice and soft again lol madness x feel a bit guilty i am having my baby two weeks early x

29 weeks pregnant. Team yellow x

I got really tired around this stage till about week 34 all I wanted to do was sleep all day, it got better though xxxxx

Kanga where are you finishing work? I'm finishing 1 June but given that I have taken 1 day leave every week til then AND I'm on a Shop Stewards course for our Union 1 day a week also I'm only there 3 days per week until I finish. :-) I work shifts and that's the part that kills me, either getting up at 6am to start work at 7.30am or doing the late shift and having to stay until 10.30pm.

Bella there are already nights I don't get enough sleep cos my hips are so sore. I thought the dog walking was aggravating this but haven't walked her for 2 days (DH has though) and I was in so much pain in bed last night. Gonna go walking today. It'll be slower for her than with DH but at least I'm getting out too :-)

Taffyrose I know exactly how you feel about having to turn slower in bed. My bump was sore last night and I really felt it every time I turned in bed. DH was working so the dog was in bed with me. She got that fed up with my moving all the time that she got off and went to her own bed on our bedroom floor lol. I hit 30 weeks on Sunday and have hospital appointment on Monday. This time I have to see consultant though because of my chronic lung condition. Then it's def countdown time - WOW where has the time gone????

MissCC I think also something was going on with LO yesterday as my bump was sore and tight all day and most of the night but alot easier today.

Charlie - you're getting close now. Good luck. Hope everything turns out well for you all :-)

The rest of us we're all pretty close in our dates. Good luck to everyone. Enjoy the next few weeks and look forward to wee arrivals :-)

I get really sore hips which involves a lot of tossing an turning on my part which annoys OH but hey I can't help it!!

Thankfully my doggit is small and old so she walks slowly anyway, I have had to start getting up at least half an hour earlier as it takes me longer to take her round the block before work lol starting to know how she feels now she is older and I am sympathising well :)

Hope some of the pain eases for you soon xxxx

My DH rarely actually realises the amount of tossing and turning I do. Once he's asleep he's asleep. Lucky him. This is a good thing as he does night shift every other week and I can still get on with things normally without having to tip toe round the house. Got to the stage that I even had chimney sweep in one day and he didn't even hear him lol. Wonder will this change when LO is here???

My dog is a 5 year old Westie who has so much energy it's unreal. Before pregnancy I could walk her for an hour and she would still come home and do power circles round our yard :dog::dog: Will be good once LO is here and I can take baby in pram and dog both out. Praying for half decent dry summer weather though :pray::pray:

I am on the slow down as well. Went away for a girly weekend in York that involved a lot of walking, day 1 I survived without admitting defeat but on day 2 I got pooped out half way through the walking Ghost Tour so we all got a taxi back. Felt like an old lady!

I totally agree getting off the sofa is a tough one, especially the ones that half eat you so you have to fight your way out.

Sleep is deffo tougher - I thought the idea was to get more sleep before the baby arrived!!

Let's hope when we all leave work things will be a bit easier :)

I finish work on the 30th April, but all of May is my 4 weeks annual leave entitlement then maternity leave starts 28th May at 36 weeks. I work as a cleaner so do stupid early's, like today was a 4.30am start so up at 3.45am!! Tomorrow is an hour later, so 5.30am start and up at 4.45am! I do shifts between 5-7 hours long, so not quite full time but it is hard going!

I was going to originally start my annual leave a the end of May and then maternity leave from when baby is due, but there is no way I can handle staying on for much longer! I think if the spd didn't kick in, I could have lasted. Or if I didnt have a job where I am constantly hoovering, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing!! Wish I had a nice job sitting down, now tha would be lovely :) xxx

yep i felt pregnant about 4 weeks ago.
hubby been walking dog for about 6 weeks as our dog pulls. (hes 11 and acts like a puppy)
bending over ive given up, now i think ive got spd front of my pelvis is KILLING me, when i move. only time it dosnt is in the bath. and paracetamol dosnt touch the pain.

roll on 6 weeks.

I can vouch that even that hurts at the moment, I asked to leave work 2 weeks early because I can't stand being sat down, I have to make sure I get up and walk every half hour or I seize up :) I feel so old lol :)

I feel your pain... esp with the dog walking. I'm trying to still walk them when I can, but it's a 2 mile walk and my back is agony after a mile and my bump goes soooo tight it hurts and baby defo isn't appreciating the days when I push myself.

I think it is an insight to what its gonna be like to be old lol

Kanga what sort of place needs cleaned in the middle of the night?? I have trouble getting out of bed at 6am never mind 3.45am!!!

Bella yip I seize up if I sit to long. Thankfully my job is receptionist so through whole shift I'm up and down like a yoyo. Does have disadvantages too - sore feet by end of shift.

Currently waiting on water to heat so I can go sit in bath as my bump is hurting me to move any way right now and I want to get all nice and relaxed before going to bed and see if I can actually get any sleep :-)

I work in a leisure centre and it opens at 6am Tuesday and Thursday and 7am the rest of the time. We start at 4.30 or 5.30am to start cleaning the gym and reception etc before customers arrive! Xxx

I could've written all of these posts!! All of a sudden past few days pregnancy feeling and slow hobbling around has kicked in!! In a way it's nice to know it's normal and all you guys are feeling the same! Talked to my boss about finishing a week earlier today (37 instead of 38 weeks) and now I'm trying to work out ways of wangling another week earlier!!! It's easy to feel fed up (started the day in tears of agony yesterday) but it's all worth it in the end and time will fly past!

Kanga - I don't know how you have coped with your cleaning job. (AND did u not have bad sickness too??!!) good luck for an easy few days until your mat leave starts x

Keep smiling girls!!!!!!!! Xxxxxx

im also starting to notice it... Walking is getting slow for me now and my legs ache to and from work, cant stop though otherwise ill be size fo a house, think ive relaxed way too much over the past 4 days xxx

I'm feeling your pain too, i cant walk too far otherwise i get bump ache (as i call it) plus gravity and a 2lb odd oz child are not been kind to my bladder lately! I struggle to reach my toes and ankles to wash em in the bath so my DD helps  my hips ache on a night and i struggle to roll over now too, luckily my OH once pushing the z's is pretty hard to disturb too! I also have the sofa problem and struggle to bend down to pick things up now! Deffo had to drop hints for OH to do certain things now, luckily my hints worked yesterday and he did all the housework for me :)

xx

It has only been the last few weeks I have struggled at work. Although they have been really good. I did get really bad sickness, was signed off work for 2 months between 6-14 weeks. And work had to adjust my hours til i was around 20 weeks as still couldn't handle the early starts due to sickness til then! I wish it was going to be an easy few weeks but been so short staffed this week. Done 2 days where I was on my own instead of 3 people but all the work still needs doing. Just hoping that someone turns up tomorrow morning so I'm not working alone for another day! Xxx
