Am I really ungrateful?

Aarrghhh just need a rant.

Not feeling particularly brilliant this morning anyway but was a bit excited as getting a new carpet fitted which means we can move furniture from nursery into this room

However need help of BIL as obv I can't help do this. My sister knows we can't start doing the nursery til furniture is moved

So I just text her to say carpet is getting fitted now so would be great if they could come over. (they live 10 mins away)

She's texted back saying they didn't know what they were doing today but would probably go out and then come to us late afternoon

Aarghh she knows we've only really got this weekend to do the nursery

Feel nit ungrateful as I know they've both worked all week but it'll take BIL all of about half hour to help shift furniture

Aw, sorry your expectations have been dashed Hun, I hate it when that happens. Can you re plan your day and do some other jobs until they come over?

It's not nice to be messed around but fx you'll still get your nursery done today just a little bit later on x

That's annoying I hate feeling like no one wants to help!! Isn't there someone else you could ask who might be free as it's a Saturday, then you can send her a text saying not to worry and someone else is helping you? Only makes them feel a lil guilty lol I'd personally be a little miffed if a family member didn't take out a quick hour or so of their weekend to help out a heavily pregnant me with one thing! Especially as it doesn't sound like they have specific other plans! But maybe they want to stay and hang out with you for a while when they do come over so they want to set aside a few hours for you later xx

Hubby decided that he'd struggle on his own so furniture has now been moved!!

Started on the nursery now at last xx
