Am I entitled to anything?

If it's any help my DH is a whizz with who's entitled to what and I'm in the same boat as you. I'm a SAHW expecting this summer. I'm not entitled to any of the grants, maternity pay's or any form of help really. Of course I can apply for Child Benefit afterwards but everyone gets that despite working circumstances. DH works full time so we just don't qualify for a penny. He did read somewhere that if you have worked for X amount of hours in the past 36 months then you might be entitled to some form of SMP but I've not worked for almost 4 years now so not surprisingly I don't qualify for that either. Check the department for work and pensions website, they might offer insight on that front for you.

I have been reading the back of my birth to five book about maternity pay etc and I am going to look into Incapacity benefit (IB) which seems you can claim if you paid enough national insurance in the last few tax years..... or ....... Contribution-based jobseekers allowance (JSA) which is paid to people unemployed or working less the 16 hrs but also you need to have paid National insurance.

Incapacity benefit is only paid if you are incapable of work due to ill health
and JSA you have to be actively seeking work.
You would need to find out what the earnings limits etc are for tax credits.

you wanna check the jobcentre and citizens advice if u have them up there im sure you do 
i will get maternity pay nbut i dont think im gonna get additional pay now cause i forgot about it
