Hi ladies wondering if you could help. I have been looking into taking agnus castus if I don't get my :bfp: this month. Do you think its worth taking even though I have regular cycles? I was mainly thinking of taking it to try to combat my acne, which (as it always occurs on my chin and jawline) I think may be down to a hormonal imbalance? Would it be safe to take it for this reason, or is it primarily used to regulate cycles? Thanks xxx

I'm not 100% sure I really just thought it was a natural hormone balancing supplement. I was taking it to regulate my cycle but for different reasons it didn't work for me. I have heard a lot of the other girls saying that they've used it tho xx

good question dita, i have suddenly got lots of spots on my chin and jawline for the past month or so and it really annoys me, it won't go away! xx

Thanks Princess, think if :witch: comes this month I'm gonna buy some and give it a try. Positivity, it's sooo annoying isn't it? You'd think that we wouldn't have to deal with this is our 20s but noooo! Feel like a 15 year old kid!

Hey Dita

I did a google search & there's soooooo many sites that come up where agnus castus has helped with hormonal acne

xxxx

Dita - i tried it this month- i have a pretty regular 34-38 day cycle so was hoping to shorten it and clear skin - it has cleared my skin i only now realised once you mentioned it!! ha ha!!
due to opk i definetly ovulated yesterday so my cycles arent shorter at all!! will be 38days again this month if not BFP x

Hello
It cleared my skin up years ago when I took it for first two weeks of cycle - I used it alongside cutting out processed foods, drinking water and spraying the affected areas with witch hazel, tea tree oil and water (you make up the concoction in one of those empty spray bottles from Boots/superdrug and keep it in the fridge). My skin was awesome at that time!! Try it xxxxx

I have bad news for you...............!!!

Still in my late 30's and extremely early 40th year  I have a tendency for an outbreak of little spots!!

I NEVER had spots as a teenager either!!!

And my spots always appear mid cycle.

Oh no Cazza! Its horrible isn't it? Have you ever been to a doctor or dermatologist about them? I've been so many times and keep getting fobbed off, surely it's not normal to still have acne grrr.
