AF after C section

I have had 2 periods since having James and both have been REALLY heavy. I have always had bad periods with loads of pain, but the weird thing is that the pain isnt half as bad, but Im bleeding 3 times as much. I can literally soak a super absorbency tampon in half an hour (sorry tmi!)

I also have a different sort of pain - its much sharper and localised around my scar.

I wondered if this was normal and if any other ladies with C sections had experienced this and whether the bleeding will settle down a bit given time?

With me it is opposite. I was breastfeeding for a while, so didnt have any periods for quite a long time. Then I went on a pill and, if before my periods were of a normal...leakage, now they are very very light. I almoust cant use tampons, cos its simply not enought blood.

Have you checked this wuth your GP? I do sometime get pain around the scar, but with time it got better.
