I have tempted fate, gone to weston super mare for the day without my notes, using my ipod that was fully charged for labour, worn my going home outfit and didnt bring any pads in case my waters break. Anyway, we're almost there and im having serious pains in my lower back, regularly. Im not panicking as i do want to tempt fate but can you feel contractions in your back when baby is laying back to back?:eh:

With Katie I had contractions in my back from 4am until 10.30am. Nothing was picked up on the monitor but I kept telling them I was in labour and they kept saying no  lil miss was born before midday

I think lots of ppl get the in there back when baby is laying back to back I know my cousin had a totally different birth 2nd time around when her baby was back to back pains in different places etc

Lacey wasn't back to back but most of my labour had pains in my back!! Sounds like something like be happening!! Yay!! :D

My baby was posterior also and for days before labour I had real pressure in my bum, until my waters broke.

During early labour, I felt them just as tightenings, but unlike previous labour with nell, the pain wasn't all over my bump, just the lower part and my lower back and at this point not so painful.....

From about 5cm on the pressure was all over my lower back and bum. When I started to get really bad intense pains, the MW checked me and said I was about 7cm... then said stop pushing (I could not control this, the pressure just made my body do it)... then the baby flew out,,, literally flew out lol.

:yay: if this tempting fate works for you, Im off to weston for the day tomorrow. Impressed youre even going with this weather!! I was gonna charge my ipod and phone this afternoon...now Im tempted not to!

 Wow!

Im home now and feel ok'ish, I have walked a fair distance today so maybe that will help things along. Im getting BH's at the moment but they are such a tease, I want some pain please!

Fingers crossed!! I have a feeling Monday will be our day!

Mmm a Monday baby! Rosie was born on a Friday lunchtime - I would love this one to be born in the daytime too. I cant wait to get on with it, to have the baby, to wear normal clothes again and not feel like a great big heffer, to be able to walk without a limp, to be able to eat blue steak, to go for a RUN! :)

ooooh yeah, I cant wait to put clothes on which arent limited to a choice of 4 different trousers!! And I just cant wait to have a guilt free couple of glasses of wine!!! (although that wont be for a while thanks to BFing!! :wall: )

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go.
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child born on the Sabbath Day,
Is fair and wise and good and gay.

Aww, how nice ^_^
And btw.... what's blue steak?

You can express after a few weeks and then ease into the wine gently! :)

Steak that is blue is practically raw! Its just literally seared and thats it :)

ahh thats nice! Im a saturday child and had a mug with that 'works hard for a living' Ive watched sooo much daytime tv recently!!

Blue steak is very rare. If you have a really good steak in a restraunt they'll do it 'bue' for you. It practically moos!

With both my boys I had back pains with labour because they were posterior. Really hope it's a promising sign for you Hun xx

 it has eh?! 8 days over? I wish because I know I would have had bubs by then!

I want/demand a day time labour this time :D Ideally go in/start before lunch/mid morning and bubs in arms before teatime

My first was born at 10.05am after being in labour from 6am the day before!
My eldest girl was born at 3.37am after complaining to a nurse at 1am that I couldn't sleep!
My next was born at 9.17pm after my waters breaking at after 8 and arriving at the hospital 15 minutes earlier!
My next started niggling at 5am and he was born at 7.57am!
And with my baby I complained of backache and brought round to delivery as a precaution, had back pain from 4-10.30am I was examined at 10 and no progress was made (from the 1-2 I was already at) so told I wasn't in labour. I was about to be sent back to the ward at 10.30 when I told my hubby to get the nurse, she examined me and I was 4-5 and Katie was born at 11.57am!!!

So this time a nice day time one

think its fair to say youve earned a nice day time labour and birth this time!!!

Ugh.... a good vet could get it back on it's feet!
*shudder* whatever floats the boat! [I'm already missing pate  ]

Anywho...point being... hope you lot get these babies shifted soon, and this risque behaviour helps!
[I just want cute pics and stories, teehee!]
