My sister is diabetic and was ttc for 6months at the begining of the year to no avail, and is now convinced she isnt going to be able to concieve. She has had diabetes for 21 years, (she is 24) I had heard it became more difficult to have children the longer you had diabetes but had always thought that ment the pregnancy would be more difficult because of the extra strain of diabetes on the body, but from talking to her last night she seems to think concieving is more dificult the longer you have diabetes does anyone know if this is true?
Also any successful mums out there with diabetes that have had it a similar length of time so I can give her some hope?
