    Hello

I am TTC #2 and am now on cycle 3.
Trying to keep it relaxed so not using opk's or anything like that.

What I am fairly interested in is dabbling in a few alternative methods, just to see what happens really. I'm not expecting miracles or anything, but anything that can help me understand my body and relax me can't hurt!

Has anyone done acupuncture? I'm just interested how that relates to fertility, and the main question, does it hurt?!
    Xxx

Hi Lea, I had the same question! I've booked in for my first appointment so we'll see what happens. A friend of mine fell pregnant from 4 months worth of acupuncture after 6 years of trying!

I'm having acupuncture and reflexology. For both I'm seeing people that specialise in fertility and both have an amazing track record of success with people that were previously unable to conceive and people on IVF.

The acupuncture hurts a bit, just when it first goes in in some of the points, it's a good thing because it shows she's got the right spot and there's something going on there. It only lasts a second or two and it's certainly not agony, there's no pain at all once it's in.

I'm not pregnant yet so I can't give you a success story but I'm in my 40s so there are other issues. I can definitely say the treatments have brought on some positive changes and I would highly recommend both of them.

    Good luck!

I had acupuncture when I had IVF. Didn't get pregnant (although I had a chemical the second time) but it was soooooooo relaxing and I got good eggs! Xx
