I have had bloods taken for OC for the past few weeks and was told last week all ok. I had reduced movement yesterday so went to Comm midwife who referred me to hospital where I was monitored - all ok. Everyone had access to my notes BTW. Went to docs this morning, had a nice walk! was given tablets for itching and sent on my way then I got a phonecall from M/W tonight asking me to have bloods taken tomorrow as they should have been taken by hospital or doc today so yet another trip to the docs in the snow tomorrow - very annoying!! (Isuppose its best to be on the safe side tho!)

Was told by a M/W that if I want to get things 'moving' oral love!! is a good way (only if you swallow tho!!!) along with a curry!!

And lastly, I haven't had any braxton hicks yet, in fact I have felt pretty ok so far apart from the itching - should I expect some soon do you think?

feel much better now, just off to make a curry!

i heard the thing about the oral love helping lol.

i too had bloods taken for OC but they came back clear and i was given piriton tablets and calamine cream with menthol in.

it's possible that you have had them just not strong ones lol id say have some curry and oral love ( in which order though  )and see how you get on, we were thinking of curry tonight but if OH reads that curry aswell as oral love can kick start things i may end up locked out of the bedroom lol

hi, i have OC,if you feel you may have it please get re-checked as although my bloods showed it up straight away (i was diagnosed within one hour) i have been told sometimes it doesnt always show straight away.
how would you describe your itching??
with mine it is alot worse then a normal itch,it affects my feet and hands the worst and it cannot be relieved unless i keep cool bordering on cold, all clothes make me start with it apart from wearing just a cotton nightie, underwear is the worst :wall:
my body feels really hot and my feet feel like they burn :wall:
i think as itching can be a pregnancy related issue some medical people say itching is normal as your skin is stretching blah blah, with OC though,in my experience it is NOT normal itching! it drives me batty!! :wall:

I'd describe it as prickly heat really. Its mainly on the soles of my feet so not the easiest place to itch! I've been given Piriton from the doc but no relief as yet. I sleep without covers on which seems to help.

I've just had my bloods done for the 4th time now and been told that they won't go off till Monday afternoon due to the weather - fingers crossed its all ok!
