If you have to go to triage for monitoring take a little pot to wee in then pour it in the specimin bottle. Having to wee into such a small space during a contraction was THE most difficult thing I have ever had to do......it went everywhere

I have a little pot at home thanks to the advice on here, it didn't occur to me to take it with me. My jumper sleeve smells of wee and it's going in the washing machine as soon as this load is finished lol

Lol as much as it sounds disgusting i have a small glass hidden in the bathroom as i couldnt pee in those lil tube things without a bump so i didnt dare try with a bump xxx

Wow, i must have impeccable aim or im just pretty lucky..Ive only ever split a drop of pee when ive had to pee in those things, but you would think they'd give you something bigger to pee in!

Our hosp provides little carboard pee pots with spout very handy!
